There are artists who impress us and elicit responses and emotions which transcend their talents..... and maybe we fall a little bit in love with them.... who does it for you, and what is it about them that does it for you?

At the Edinburgh festival, Sarah Jane Morriss and Antonio Forcione had finished their set but SJM said that she went with her family to see the 'greatest living artiste' at the Albert Hall last November. Then they performed their take on 'Blowin' in the Wind' Of course it was Bob Dylan she was referring to. I remember hearing his music for the first time thinking it was a bit different and how it grows on you and gets under your skin. Something about the words the rhyming and the meter of it paints such interesting pictures. Of course, critics say he can't sing/can't play harmonica etc but I think they heard someone say it before them and are just regurgitating without being original. I had some builders in a couple of weeks ago and treated them to a 'Bob Dylan Day'. 'Don't know any of his stuff'....................... ....... 'Oh yes I know this one'
And what about favourite tracks???
Changing of the Guard Beyond here lies nothin Sad Eyed Lady............. Senor Back Pages Stuck inside of Mobile etc etc
Sorry, could go on. Your turn

I don't know what it is, but I've always found there is something appealing about Kylie
