There is certainly that, Zenrider! It was their spatial recognition, orientation, navigational and learning abilities which were being exxplored this week using a perspex maze which was rotated and reversed on a horizontal axis, then made vertical; the time it took for the mice to find their way to the food for each was recorded along with the times it took for them to subsequently repeat the route. Once the route was fathomed (taking around 90 seconds max, I think), return joyrneys were without error and made in around 6 - 8 seconds. the mice maze was cool and may be they should do a human one at WOMAD, if they put a pint of ale at one end Del is sure he would find it in less that 8 seconds
