from the BBC Springwatch Facebook page (doubling up for Autumnwatch): "Here's what we've got in store for you... 8am: Autumnwatch returns this morning online with updates coming all day and into the afternoon with CBBC as they takeover with their own blend of autumnal delights for families & fans alike. Noon: From 12pm, you can catch 'Autumnwatch In a Nutshell' with Brett Westwood on BBC Red Button or online. 1pm: Join us for exclusive Facebook Live lunchtime chats with Brett & the team 8pm: TONIGHT on BBC Two it's Autumnwatch with Martin, Chris & Michaela!" ......no unsprung then... ..there's mention of carousel on the BBC Autumnwatch website "Watch the best of the live cameras in the carousel" - please let me know where this is as there's no link, nor red button for these as far as I can see. Hopefully more will be revealed; I'm not CBBC or onlining.... The 20 min clip on red button is fab, but to loop continually from now on? .......

we caught a little bit of the first prog and it was good but we thought unsprung was being phased out which is a shame

I caught the end of a piece with Brett looking rather disheveled..lovely video of owl washing itself and grass snake...and invited photos from viewers. Now watching rolling loop before head off singing.Beiatiful shots. Chris wiht the eagle. Can't help feeling now Autumn watch on a shoestring!! Back to catch rest of loop and G&T and another piece of that cake...oh just discovered how short this loop is !!!!!

Loved seeing the footage of 207 post fledging - what an absolutely gorgeous bird. I thought the satelite tag looked big whenit was put on, but it has soon become small in proportion to her body. So glad the tag is being widely advertised; should, perhaps, ensure the safety of all golden eagles... would like to think so anyway! Oh boy; really, really missing the Extra early morning live progs and the Unsprungs.....

Well, proof indeed that Douglas Adams was spot on: βThese creatures you call mice, you see, they are not quite as they appear. They are merely the protrusion into our dimension of vastly hyperintelligent pandimensional beings.β

Fly safe, Freya. Martin waving goodbye was a sad moment at the end of the prog - really hoping we see him smiling Hello on Winterwatch..... also from RSPB Arne. And the return of the Unsprung and Extra programmes - this week definitely has felt different....
