Hello and welcome Lia, it has been a long time. Yes, the Club closed, so a Pub was opened for those that still like a forum structured place to hang out. Or like me, just never really got into Facebook. Many came, said what a great idea, then left without their coats. They do stop in from time to time, and I suspect some lurk here every now and again. Would probably help if Peter would come out with the new works album he has been teasing us with for a very, very long time. As it is, he seems happier promoting new young talent and reminding us that he used to put out great albums and concerts fairly frequently... Sadly, the old Club forums are lost to us.

For a very long time Beef and I kept time with the Next Word thread, while some of our old friends would pop in from time to time, it was kind of sad seeing all those coats hanging waiting for their owners to pop back in, and someone left their shoes.

Then one wonderful day a bunch of WOMADers stumbled in from the rain and brought life to the pub. They do tend to stick in one corner , but all are welcome there, and they are known to wander about the Pub and the world.

Hope to hear more from you, Lia, and if you run into some of the old Club members, you might let them know they left their coats here and a pair of shoes.
