Not sure I ever really saw his show, being across the pond in the days before cable and satellite TV, even with it's still a bit restrictive on shared content.
Sorry for your loss, but what fun to have that show in your childhood.
As for YouTube comments I noticed, Yeah, safety has come along way, but very cool video. Have to agree with one of the comments that mentioned the camera man had to do it with one of those huge old cameras of the day first!
One of the comments also seems to have him confused with another children show guy who claimed he didn't like kids, but turned out he liked them in the wrong way... Got to love YouTube commenters, facts often don't seem to matter...
