new to the forum, has anyone received their tickets yet?

Hi mac, welcome to the forum.
No tickets are sent out by Womad. They are available as a download (with bar code) when you originally booked or via an email attachment. Below was posted on the womad Facebook site recently.

When you book tickets for WOMAD, they will be sent to you via email as an attachment only.
We do not send tickets out in the post so if your email hasn’t arrived please get in touch with us ASAP. Don’t forget to print it out or download your ticket to your mobile device and remember to bring it with you!

I have sent an email

We paid by instalments but did not receive our e tickets when the last instalment had been paid. When I queried this, an email from the Womad pixies stated that we still owed a very small balance, which was incorrect.
After pointing out their error, our e tickets arrived the next day!

my Wife and I have been to womad once before back when it was at reading, the new site is better I have been told. I loved the eclectic mix of Artists giving an enormous variety of music to explore.

I never went to the Reading site for Womad and there seems to be mixed comments about how it compares to Charlton Park. Personally think CP is a pretty good site, plenty of space and stages close enough to get about quickly but also far enough apart to prevent music overlap. Must say I preferred the main stage layout from two years ago than what we were presented with last year.

Sadly, it seems inevitable that following recent events, there will be greater security and potentially long queues for bag searches. But we are British and just have to put up with longer queuing and know it will all be worth it at the end considering all the fantastic acts to look forward to 🙂

Nigelnets sandwiches will be discovered again by the dogs thats for sure. Wiltshire police can be zealous sometimes toO.

I preferred the layout pre 2016, less walking needed.
