I can supply nibbles! Betsy is big enough to carry everything! If we're in agreement you can let me know what to get. Cheese, cheese in any form, with crackers or in crackers; cheddars will do nicely, but they'll go very quickly! Or with onion in crisps. Or in cake - cheesecake.... don't forget the cake aspect of things cheese ...... Cheese is good - it was the thing which was my hurdle when giving veganism a good go.

Peanuts, Cheese, Pringles, Crisps, Crusty Bread Peanuts? Risky? Would we need an epi-pen on standby? 😨 Peanuts aren't nuts, they are just called nuts, look like nuts, and taste like nuts, but they are not nuts, but are Legumes, so are actually a type of Bean or Pea. Lot's of people are allergic to Peanuts specifically, but that does not constitute a Nut Allergy but rather a Peanut Allergy. I am allergic to Nuts, or as some say "Tree Nuts", so it's your Walnuts, Almonds, Brazil nuts that are the killers. Coconut, Peanuts, Cashew Nuts are all fine Cashews are a fascinating food. Botanically, they are a master of disguise. They split in half like a legume, but they are not a legume. They look sort of like a nut and grow on a tree, but they are not a tree nut. And the red juicy pear looking thing that grows on the same tree as them looks like a fruit, but it’s not actually a fruit.

I've seen cashews growing in The Gambia. You're right, they are strange. The labour intensive processing is what makes them a more expensive product too. We'll I'm glad that your allergy does not include the leguminous peanut. It would be a tragedy if you couldn't enjoy peanut butter!

Ah Peanut Butter, hmmm You may have noticed that having grown up somewhat left wing, (gone a bit more pragmatic and libertarian now) from my mid teens I have been Anti American, which I know it's silly, but was a hangover of Vietnam, CIA rushing around the World fixing Elections and killing off leaders they didn't like etc. Sort of the bullies of the world. I know this is silly and there are many many fine Americans, and Obama mostly cured me, but my prejudice still comes through with Harley Davidson's, Peanut Butter and American Films with the Stars and Strips flags in pretty much every shot. Peanut Butter in cooking is "just" acceptable but as a spread on bread "Nope"

Had a lady who had an anaphylaxis to grape seed oil used as a carrier oil in massages. She was allergic to pine nuts which are a seed (of course!) but not made the Im allergic to seeds connection with grape seeds.
