It would be great if there was space when we get there, but don't worry if there isn't - we'll just pitch close.

I was wondering whether anyone would like their washing up done and water flagons replenished (or other some such task) in return for hot water? I'm leaving the stove and oooking stuff behind this year but would like a couple of mugs of hot water for coffee in the morning and a couple of hot water bottle fulls in the evening. Anyone happy to do this or come to some other arrangement?

Not to mention fried black puddings. Note the timetable is up. Got some studying to do. So exciting.

Are you camping with the Womad Forum Camp this year, where X marks the spot Hootdrummer? - that sounds wonderful, so I hope so, thanks !

If you could manage to carry a thermos you could fill it up the night before for your morning coffee, a tip passed on to me by Jim's dad, Paul Hickson.

Does it really keep the water coffee making hot? I suppose it must do. Nice tip; thanks for passing it on. Now, in which of the 100 or so boxes did I pack the thermoses?........ think I'll use this tip another year hen I'm not in the throes of moving house!

What lovely friends. I've often been accused of packing the kitchen sink, but a bath?

Just thinking, if we get our acts together as a communal camp, each bringing something everyone can use, we can lighten loads and maybe, just maybe, someone could bring a kitchen sink (remember the good old days, Hootdrummer?)and we could even have a bath tent...... with bubbles....

Halcyon days SS. The washbasins in the campsite. I know I always go on about them. I even have a photo. The biblical well, communal teeth cleaning, pan scrubbing, hair shampooing, such a great community builder, get to know the neighbours and discuss the weather. But now we're reduced to single taps in a quagmire and that ladida business which costs and I'm sure is no substitute. (I refuse to use them). Thanks for listening to my annual rant. Looking forward to seeing you all. Bring on webby. Xx
