Ifriqiyga Electrique Looks really interesting .... good spot PD Saw 3 out of 4 and my friend Nick got to play balathon with Mamadou Diabate at World Rhythms. Fabulous workshop and Mamadou knows how to play to the crowd both musically and as a sharp witted comedian despite not having much English. . Saw your friend Nick in his 5 minutes of fame! Such a great workshop! Mamadou was wonderful

Ah, DH wish I'd spotted you there to say hello. Yes, it was fab. I intend to do more workshops next year as you get a great view and can sit down. My back and knees are still complaining.

Ah, DH wish I'd spotted you there to say hello. Yes, it was fab. I intend to do more workshops next year as you get a great view and can sit down. My back and knees are still complaining. I didn't see you either or likewise! We love workshops for exactly those reasons. I spent Sunday afternoon in Taste The World - I only meant to see Vesevo but it was nice sitting down in the dry, at the front and when I got up to leave my hip aching and I asked myself if I really wanted to face the mud again. I decided not, so saw two unplanned acts -Speech Debelle who wasn't great, but was something different and the Spooky Men's Chorale who were very funny and extremely good.
