Let’s hope we will not be troubled by falling water whenSonghoy Blues are playing at Womad 2018 (I read the posts in ‘what’s your next gig🙂).
But if it is raining, know Cal and Del will still be dancing like loons down the front

Taken from WOMAD Gran Canaria Facebook page.
The Canarian group Papaya, selected to play at WOMAD Charlton Park 2018 • The festival will be held in the United Kingdom from July 26 to 29 next year and will be an unbeatable opportunity for the band led by Yanara Espinoza to reach a great international projection • It will be the first time that an artist from the islands comes, invited by the organization, to the main WOMAD

Gabrielle and Rodrigo Are playing WOMAD downunder and Del thinks they will be playing the UK this year too Don't tell me that as it'll mean i will have to go to Womad and next year has been planned as my "year off". 😁Quite simply, the last time I saw them might stand as my favourite live performance ever.

This time, will have to get there in time to actually be inside the Siam tent. Not having to stand outside and give up because could not hear a blooming thing (unless they are on main stage of course)

Sunny Buxton also do-able - I second that! And I first for The Grand Theatre, or Howard Assembly Rooms, Leeds. Not sure how big the assembly rooms are, but the Grand Theatre would be fine. Shadwell Village Hall would be too much of a squeeze...
