This full moon brings us the first of not just one, but two super moons.
It also lights up the new year with the first of two full moons this month. Which will repeat again in March. Yep, two blue moons in the same year with no full moons in February!
Hope everyone made it through the holidays safely and happily.
Here's to a brighter 2018, though I suspect politically it will have a rough start, and, perhaps, be maddening from time to time. I hold hope it will end as a year of real hope and change for the entire world.
Here's to friendly gatherings with old friends and new. Not likely to make it to this years WOMAD without a true miracle, that is winning a big lottery, but still mulling the idea of a Shetland Trip around the time of the Folk Festival. Not ready to commit, because there are so many things I really should do at home, but have yet to rule that out.
Other than that, planning to spend as much time with my now solitary pony, who is still deciding if it's really to his advantage to have me all to himself.
I'm thinking he's OK with it, but we both miss Zen. He has other equine buddies, so he's not pining away or anything. Without Zen, it seems most of my pictures of him will be him just standing around looking for someone to challenge him to a race.
