Worrying report of a potential end of an era? Personally I cannot see the US Government allowing such a US Icon as Gibson to fail, much like Harley Davidson, iconic American cliche products reflect the strength of the US economy and it's image abroad so cannot be allowed to be seen to fail. Bankruptcy is often used to get rid of debt. Hard as it is for the average person to use this tactic, it is far easier for corporations and wealthy people. Especially, if it can get them out of obligations towards employees. Though I don't know enough about this situation to make that presumption.
