waves from the bit almost out of the photo at the top. it doesnt look such a long drive to civilisation when i look at it like this.

Been up there often, (Scotland not Space) and never realised the mountains were is such straight lines Going up twice in May, I was going to say I'll look out for the straight lines, but I guess I'd need quiet a long ladder

the lines few made by the ice sheet from the last ice age
what you can see is what was left, like the sand on a beach after the tide has gone out

if you look closely at Skye to can see the Cullin ride which is all that is left of the lava chamber of a massive volcano
There is also on at the end of the Ardnamurchan peninsular just to the left of the centre of the pic at the bottom, the also eroded part of it many years ago
