I read this and feel he has had more than enough to cope with, so not surprised an album has not been forthcoming.

Well, that would explain the last 18 months. Would also explain why he's been a bit more his old self making short videos and such.
That's pretty incredible. Glad Meab is doing well and Peter has that weight off his shoulders.
At that cost, I don't think I would fair as well.
As for the album being released was hinted at before his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so he is not totally off the hook for that. With this behind them, perhaps we will see such an album sooner, than later.
