Hang on Womad as the saying goes "I got an idea". Bring back chai chapel, frankwater, drumming workshops, drumming, random appearances by great artists at other stages than the advertised ones, a stall like Manic organic, vodka jelly man (licence him if you must) a quiet arboretum, let people sell sale stuff on the side of track ways to the gates, get people to dress up in fancy dress (why did that go away?)see how to bake bread in earth ovens, make benders - like it used to be , oh and drop the ticket prices to pre recession.

We were in a significant minority it is sad to say. Sir David Attenborough described people dressing up at Womad as the "last of the few a of a small colony, Although rumours abound of multicoloured hats and waistcoats, it is sadly only seen in a few slightly disturbed males of the colony. As females have not fully adapted to it it is likely that a breeding colony will never exist naturally"

I ended up leaving my lighting up hat at home as I didn't think it would fit in the car and didn't want it crushing, so it got forgotten and left on the windowsill. Looking at it now, it is a bit crappy compared to most creations, but will do something better next year!
