lol how that's a good idea for a thread
looks like an interesting line up,
like all the other WOMADs there will be a strong level of home grown acts and hopefully the best of them will appear at WOMAD UK

it would be cool to go to it but we'd need to find a money tree first

There does not seem to be many cross over of acts from Chile to Charlton Park but I do keep an eye on the line up to see if there are any clues to who may be coming to the UK. Might have to consider that it is easier to book acts for the other Womad sites than it is for the uk, if the comments about visas and immigration controls for artists coming to the uk are correct. The main thing about Womad Chilie is that when their weekend is over, we can look forward to the first announcement for CP ๐ Although I live in the Forest of Dean, I have not come across a money tree as yet, will keep looking and if I do find one, will pay for all forum members to travel to Chile (you will have to buy your own weekend tickets though, do you think I am made of money or money grows on trees?)

And, yeah, budget is a problem. Just was wondering, so I could live vicariously through someone else. I could almost do it this year, but I'd have to leave Sunday, likely before it was over.

There is play list on spotify
we can't post a link as our old school browser can deal with modern streaming sites
