Olirow. I discovered that you have to do it on a proper computer instead of on a phone! Thatβs my first hurdle. Then I followed some instructions by SC on a thread which mentioned you have to do a quick reply and click on the seventh? Icon from the right. It then asks you for a file name so I clicked on the photo. Not simple I can assure you. I couldnβt work out how to add a comment either. π€ good luck You can do it on your phone hotdrummer - you just need to select "desktop version" in your browser's options and you'll get the same functionality as on your pc...

Go to Musicport - it is fab!
Hotdrummer, make sure I see your gig next year - didn't know you were performing and would have loved to have been there. Great to see you, as always!
Well, music highlights for me:
Warsaw Village Band - blew me away - folk/trance magic....... stunning stuff; would love to see again; have bought CD's to see me through until the next time Varldens - stonking band - great engaging crowd pleasers and I think Musicport's "house band" - they keep on getting asked back because they are just brilliant. Catrin and Seckou - have seen them quite few times now, -still as spellbinding
Great to see everyone and have a new venue to explore - Whitby Pavilion was just right - Theatre, Main and North Sea stages with DJ area (Andy Kershaw particularly fab), bar and cafe with menu changes throughout the day to suit. Bacon sarnie very good - along with a tea or coffee at 9am watching the sea pounding the harbour pier was just fab. Loos throughout the building, coat rack and CD and Songlines area. And another bar and performance area on the way to the Theatre. Seating comfy and considerately placed so you could sit/dance infront and stand behind - worked well - no complaints other than folk trying to reserve seats, towel on deckchair style.
I camped at the indoor camping at Brunswick Centre - shower, loos, kitchen - tea, coffee, toast and marmalade provisions supplied - help yourself. A couple of heavy and consistant snorers got fab night's sleep. I struggled to improve things with earplugs, but it was ok; warm place and easy going, friendly people.
Met some lovely people and enjoyed long conversations between breakfast and first performances. Great to have everything under one roof. More outside - food stalls, bus with bar and the wonderful sea.
Give it a go! Super way of brightening up darkening days!

Just been talking about Musicport and realise I missed off something rather special. Very special - tears and laughter in equal measure - lots of red and soggy eyes as people left the theatre and lots of love for Jeremy Hardy - we were treated to an hours video of his performance at Musicport a couple of years ago. Am hour packed with his terrific rapid fire hilarious observations; so quick witted and quick thinking; was such a bittersweet experi ence to see him at his best again. So much love and appreciation. Rest well, Jeremy. We miss you.

I must apologise for silly comments π³π€£[....... You have nothing to apologise for! I didnβt agree, but I am saving the quote to steal, never change Rod! That comment was brilliant as it was repeated often with a smile over the weekend ! Be proud! You have added a phrase to the British language πππ

Youβre all too nice. Actually the Musicport ticket is Β£108.39 cus Eventbrite take the Β£8.39 I think. Quite a big cut... which is 3 pints of beer at Musicport or 8 pints of lager there at the end of Sunday!!
