Although WOMAD have stated may of WOMAD 2020's artist have agreed to play in 2021 time will tell who does and who doesn't
On the up side the flaming lips have already announced they are playing WOMAD 2021
not our kind of thing but there is always another stage or the real ale tent

They're all right. I think they just like to be silly sometimes. Next year is probably going to be a good year for silly. I haven't seen them in concert, but who knows what the future may bring?
Have to admit I like this song.

They do put on a really good show and recommend seeing them. Do you realise? Is a great song and one that gives the message of not to worry about the future, it’s all ok, and enjoy life for the moment. Also check out ‘an aeroplane over the sea’ by Neutral Milk Hotel which gives a similar message.

Mildred and I saw them back in the days that we went to Glastonbury, Mildred has fond memories of them but I don’t really remember, I think the singer poured a bucket of blood over his own head whilst singing a song about Birthday 😀. I could easily be wrong and it was another band 😀

It was 17 years ago and towards the end of a long Glastonbury day, so I think I can be forgiven www.theguardian.com/uk/2003/jun/29/glastonbury2003.glastonbury1

Kate Tempest has Thursday 22 July as Womad on her Tour dates, so that must be 2021 .... I'm very pleased with that Hopefully she will be appearing next year, but I would not have chosen her to play on Thursday evening. Think it needs something more dancey to get the crowd in the mood for the weekend. Fatimata Diawara would have been excellent at that this year.

Just catching up on last weekend's Music Planet, and they played some 'funeral songs' by Fra Fra from North Ghana. Ian Brennan, who's brought several acts over to Womad over the years, has recorded the band and was saying that they were to appear at Womad this year. Hopefully we'll get to see them next year.

But personally, I just want to see her, so I'm happy

Seen her once before, highly recommend. However, would not be so keen on seeing her on the a Thursday night. Been spoilt with some ‘world music’ legends highlighting something a bit more special and intimate on Thursday and hope this will be the slot for someone special in 2021.
