Coming in a bit late. Hope someone somewhere saw meteors tonight. It's overcast over here, so again it seems I'm to miss out. Been happening a lot, but can't do much about what the weather decides.
Happy New Year! Here's to hoping things get a bit better this year after a largely disastrous 2020.
Over here, in the states, it will probably take at least half a year to get over the election madness. This week is going to have a lot of theatrics from the Republican Party. Continuing their pretense that the election that kept most of them in office somehow was fraudulent in not keeping Trump in office. The good thing is, after this week, they will have to accept that the majority voted Trump out of office.
It's too much to hope for, but hoping while I can, that Georgia decides having two Democratic Senators won't destroy their state as much as two Republican Senators could further damage the entire nation.
Anyway, enough about the USA.
It seems Brexit is falling into place, though it looks like there will continue to be issues to be worked out. As yet, it is going to be a wait and see game.
Covid-19 is still an issue, but with the vaccine rolling out, in some places better than others, there is hope that by the end of the year some kind of normal may be achieved.

Quadrantids Meteor Shower: Runs through January 1-5 peaking on the 2nd and 3rd.
