I’m just listening on the Sony headphones. He’s playing ‘Idiot Wind’, one of my fave Dylan tracks along with hundreds of others. “Down the highway, down the tracks, down the road to ecstacy…” Such amazing words. From the ‘Blood on the tracks’ album, which is a fantastic record and maybe his greatest album. Produced after a messy divorce (or so I understand) and the experience is reflected in the powerful lyrics. Highly recommend a listen to the album to anyone not familiar with it, even if you are not a fan of Bob Dylan, it is very different to what you may normally expect from Dylan. But unlike what AK said, I think Dylan has put out some great albums since. Modern Times, Together Through Life, Desire, Time out of Mind, Tempest. My list goes on. But then I’m a big fan.

Off topic too Mikey ( maybe a Dylan thread😱) Yes that’s a great cover. I love this one of ‘Boots…’ with Nanci Griffith. Some talent here like Danny Thompson.

Very nice. Another of my favourite songs, and such a sad tale which I can identify with from previous relationships.

Sorry guys - I'm just about ok with Dylan's music ... but I'll never forgive him for his comment during Live Aid:
From a quick search:
"Bob Dylan annoyed Bob Geldof by asking on stage that some of the money raised be used to pay mortgages of US farmers." "In a spontaneous aside during his brief performance, Dylan suggested that American farmers need some financial aid, too." "Bob Dylan planted the seeds for another charity concert, Farm Aid, when he took a moment during his performance with Keith Richards and Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones to suggest that some of the money be used to help struggling American farmers."
Did he even bother to find out why he was on stage? Did he see the pictures and video of the starving people in Ethiopia? In no way shape or form would I ever have wanted to contribute to farmers in what was probably the richest country in the World at the time. At the time I couldn't believe what I heard.
