Hope everyone had a super view of the Full Strawberry (in name, not hue) Moon! It was a Super Moon, so being closer looked larger. One more Super Moon and we will be celebrating WOMAD under a New Moon.
Have most of the important things taken care of for my trip to the UK and WOMAD. Proving to be an expensive year to travel, especially the car rental. Have a feeling it will be a good year to go to WOMAD. OK, I'll bet there really isn't a bad year to go to WOMAD.
Seems nearly everyone active on the forum is coming to WOMAD this year and others are making their annual comeback to the forum, so 😎. Likely should have saved money and done Camp WOMAD, but will more likely enjoy having my little Podpad, that is a tent made out of plywood, but with air beds vs ground mattress, complete with bedding. Less to pack for the flight.
Will arrive a few days before to have a few days before to work on jet lag, and perhaps not worry if flights get changed for some reason or another.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and being part of the WOMAD wave. OK, to work on losing 50 middle aged pounds in a month and a half. 🙄 So, very excited!
