Happy Full Buck Moon! First of four Super moons this year.
First moon in a while not to be rusty or orange from Canadian wildfires lately. Had some rain and storms come through last weekend. Sadly, the air quality is in alert territory again. There is no sign of an end to the Canadian wilderness on fire. We've been effected by distant wildfires before, but none have been like this year. Last Wednesday was so bad, I was wearing a KN95 mask outside to keep from coughing. We are supposed to get more rain locally, which helps, but hopefully the areas on fire will get a lot of rain soon. Chances are, it won't be until it snows before most get put out.
Had my first experience with Bonnaroo. It was fun, I would do again, probably not next year, but hope to find someone to go with, or meet me there next time. WOMAD is better in many ways, mostly as it's about half the size, so has a much cozier feel. And of course, all my WOMADer friends from here. π€
Peter keeps releasing songs, So Much, being the latest installment. He's currently touring the UK and Europe, though the album/cd has yet to be released. The tour is getting great reviews, but yet to see any here. The end of September is my turn.
Guy is doing well, going to attach a picture, and likes the new barn owners. Who have now been to the barn for almost an entire year now. It's hard to believe so much time has gone by.
Didn't finish all of my projects before going to Bonnaroo, but made a pretty big dent in them, and I'm rested up enough to get busy with them again this coming weekend.
Parents are doing well and had me over for barbecue ribs off the grill for today's holiday. Um, er, you know the one were we went to war with England.
This is the last full moon before WOMAD, which has hired the moon to make an appearance in the woods there. Bet those that are able to go this year are super excited. Can't wait to see the happy pictures. Hopefully, Webby will behave better for the WOMAD wave Thursday.
Wishing everyone between the Full Moons very happy birthdays and lots of cake!
