I heard through the PG newsletter as PG collaborated with her on things. Such dreadful dreadful news. She stood for something and was not afraid to say so.

I heard the news and was devastated. I was watching SNL live when she tore the picture of the Pope, and not being religious didn't see the big deal. Really thought people were overreacting. It was a picture people.
Of course, I feel the same when people burn the Koran. It's silly to burn books. It's evil to kill someone for burning a book.
Sinead, she did a lot of good while she was alive, and may continue to do more after her death. RIP Your music will live forever. πΆ

...sounds carefully worded... it's a bit bland for him, did he write it? i was expecting something more personal..

...sounds carefully worded... Β it's a bit bland for him, did he write it? i was expecting something more personal.. I'm sure I read (maybe in Spencer Bright's PG biography?) that they had a brief but intense affair, back in the early 90s, which ended with Sinead making a failed suicide attempt. Maybe that's why it's a bit distant?

Anyway, is there a more beautiful and haunting song than this?
