Hey guys, First of all thanks for setting this up. I wasn't a frequent poster on the old forum but I did enjoy following along and I'm not a huge FB fan so I appreciate the sentiment. That being said I broke down and requested to join the PG group but the admins don't appear to be very diligent about adding folks. Can someone from here please add me? Or refer me to someone who can? I'm Chester Armanfb on facebook.
The main reason I want to join the FB group is to get some help with a questions about a ticket to the show in Berlin in May. RealWorld doesn't seem to be up to answering so I thought I'd try crowdsourcing. I'll post the same question here too (in a separate thread).
Thanks a lot!
Chester

Hello there ctartman- good to hear from you I think people on Facebook may well be able to help you given so many of them have attended a lot of PG gigs. I must admit I have no idea. I am in the group but I have failed to add people myself. Happy to post your question if that helps - let me know.

Quick update - apparently the admin doesn't look at requests very often (if ever). I resorted to messaging people who were already members and asking them to add me. A very nice woman named Pat Parker was kind enough to add me (thanks Pat if you're on here too).
If anyone else runs into the same problem message me on FB (Chester Artmanfb) and I'll do my best to add you.

Facebook. . . why? It's like dumping your life into a sewer. I just don't get it.

Facebook. . . why? It's like dumping your life into a sewer. I just don't get it. Which is why people like it. They can post what they want with little effort, feel connected without the whole actually communicating with one another thing. Peter can post or more likely have one of his computer team post under his name things and give the delusion that it's actually him posting. Perhaps every now and again he might post something, but find it hardly likely. Perhaps in time more will find they miss the forum way of doing things and reconnect here. If not, well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It seems to me the essence of most PG songs are about communication - genuine, personal and honest. That's what missing from PG these days, that's why I can't listen anymore. . . he's just become "Peter Gabriel", the avatar of the real Peter Gabriel. Thanks again Zen for creating this place.
