Made a last minute decision to go to Into The Wild Gathering last night - actually it was very last minute since I only arrived at 9pm and it was the final day of the festival. Anyway I did arrive early enough to see the Barmer Boys who were pretty good I thought and would be great at Womad. I've been to this festival a few times now, and I think there are some on this board who would like it - not commercial at all, food outlets all seem created for the occasion, world/spiritual music and a very 'new age' feel.

Yay!, Nigenet Have been looking into seeing Jeremy Hardy - on in Chippenham, but the same night as we're booked for Afro Celts in Bristol. He's also on in Bristol at the Tobacco Factory on 20th November; tempting, but struggling to find a car park within reasonable walking distance.... may have to catch him on another tour.... |

We have always been able to find on street parking near the Bristol Tobacco factory, we always seem to get their early so we end up having a pint (or 2) in the pub downstairs

In St Ives, Cornwall for the September Festival - going to more pub and informal gigs this year but have tickets for Rick Wakeman, Philip Henry & Hannah Martin, Sarah Gillespie and Phil Beer - all people we have seen before and enjoy....now just need the rain to stop!
