Karine Polwart in a lovely old church on Friday. Karine Polwart is wonderful. Saw her at Purbeck about 3 years ago but not caught up with her again since

I concur on Karine Polwart. One of my mates saw her perform on the Cuttey Sark a couple years back. She is indeed very goon.
My next gig is seeing The Last Waltz on Friday being performed live by a tribute band brought together after the death of Levon Helm a couple years ago.

Blaze Bayley was very good and he is still and excellent front man it's just a shame too many rock fans just think of him as the guy who did a few maiden albums while Bruce too a holiday

Breabach, Saturday, Pound Arts Centre, Corsham. Breabach has come a little too early for me, unfortunately, otherwise we'd have seen you there, SS. Hope you enjoy it, I'm sure it will be fab. In a couple of weeks' time The Furrow Collective are playing in Nailsworth, nr Stroud, where we saw Spiro a few months ago. I'm hoping my back will be up to it, in which case it will be my first gig of the year. Most of the seating is of the plastic variety, so I may have to take some cushions!
