I too balked at the Kraftwerk ticket prices, although Manchester Bridgewater Hall prices wer a little less eye-watering than Beanstew's experience. Still, £77 (via the venue, over £80 on ticket sites) seemed too steep for me. Just booked a ticket to see this at Sunny Buxton's Opera House in a couple of weeks. I like the sound of Flit. They're playing in Bristol on 26th - I would have been keen to go but it's midweek and just before Afro Celts. Two gigs in 3 days is a bit too much for me these days  |

Ah - found you, Rendrags - you an Mrs R will be at ACSS too - hurray!!! FLIT will be quite an experience, I think - I'm still struck by the recent documentaries on the box. Alan Bennet's Diaries Live Screen is on at the Pound on 16th Nov - would like to go, but it'll be a big ask; just back from Iceland then. |

Anyone going to Musicport at the end of next week?
My first time, looking forward to it, Geoff Berner sounds like he'll be worth the price of admission alone!
Blockheads and Arstidir also playing, overall the line up looks pretty good.
