Rojo's Rustic Inn Blues Fest during Catfish Days here in Wilmington, IL. Typical carnival at the park, but the real fun is in town. Though, most of the weekend one might argue too many cover bands. Some are pretty good, so hard to complain too much. Except for Sunday at Rojo's, where they have had some really good Chicago area local blues bands.

Hilarious! Apparently a couple stormed out in the middle of the first set because he said a few swearwords. I can only assume their only exposure to stand-up comedy has been to watch Mr McIntyre on BBC1... Off to see Mark Steel in the Pavilion Arts Centre on Friday!

lol we had a similar experience a few years ago when we went to see Karen Dunbar do a solo show, she does a lot of Scottish comedy shows on tv and radio so there were a lot of retired people in the audience show were there to see "that nice young woman off the telly"
after just over an a very funny hour of rude jokes, a little bit of swearing and stories about the problems she had with her girlfriend there were many pale and stunned faces in the audience
but being Scottish no one left as they wanted their monies worth ;o)
