The blessed silence - the temporary absence of the bloody chiffchaff which will begin again at about 5am tomorrow chiffchaffing at about 5am outside my bedroom, like a squeaky wheel going around and around. . .
even the woman voicing this documentary about chiffchaffs is annoying -

We had a bit of Polly (PJ Harvey ) earlier - never managed to catch her live yet despite her being a local girl! Now listening to John Grant since he's headlining WOMAD - not come across him before as he sounds great! Definitely on the must-see list now. Eagerly awaiting the new CDs from ACSS and 9Bach on Friday too.
