Looking like it will be the right result in the long term but really wanted it to be by a more comfortable margin. In the short term, Trump has a lot of lawyers and a lot of supporters (with guns).many over here looking at what is happening and hoping it all transfers peacefully. take care! |

What has gone wrong in the world? Sadly, this is too reflective of a worldwide problem.
Given the wilful damage the American Republican Party has done to America, you would think very few would want to vote for the evil they represent.
We really needed the Senate, but at least we held onto Congress. At least, that's how it appears right now. That will be a bigger battle two years from now, as well as some Senate seats. Which isn't good, too many people like to sit out the mid terms, because they get too focused on the presidency. What's crazy is so many haven't figured that out yet. What's crazier still, is the people that believe in perpetuating evil will always vote. You would think the people that would prefer an equal, and perhaps someday a more peaceful world, would be the ones that would find voting an important thing to include in their life.
Anyway, we are still in hope territory, even if Trump tries to steal yet another election.
No matter where you live VOTE! everytime there is an election.

I had to laugh at one news report that now Biden would have to put together a cabinet. Are you kidding me? I have no doubt Biden and Harris already have that covered
Anyway, being prepared, I'm drinking Dark Horse Brute a n American version of Champagne. Know what? It's not bad.

Impressed with how Kamala Harris has been brought into the campaign and with the oldest President in office, we may see her taking a greater role than other Vice Presidents. Just hope she picks up a big following and will be well placed to take on the race in 2024 (or 2028)

Thanks Beef, I think the political fight, the wish to observe and push for change, dissolved from me following the Dec 19 Election, the big concerns of stopping Brexit and wanting Labour to return to being (IMO) an electable force were over. The battle to Remain was lost in Dec 19 (IMO) the fight was over for me, we lost and Labour is now looking at itself with honesty. I guess chuntering on about wanting a fair PR voting system and wanting the UK to be a liberally minded Federal Republic, aren’t likely to be on the agenda right now 😂🤣😂🤣 |
