Good thing their are college professors paying attention to TicTok and the like. It's worth watching all three. It does show that, if you are already scornful of vaccination, you will lap up the lies told with conviction and without questioning what they are saying (science, on the other hand is about challenging what we know - which may be it’s weakness when you try to debate the facts with the unbearably stupid). anyway, there must be something in all this ‘microchip implanted’ by the vaccine malarkey. Have you seen the clips where this is proven by people demonstrating that a magnet sticks to their arm at the point where they had the injection! Well, I tried it and yes, the fridge magnet did to my upper arm just below my right shoulder…. Only thing is, I had the vaccine in my left arm 🤔 (a small magnet will stick to skin if there is perspiration)

I once walked my parents' dog to get a Sunday paper, and one of them pissed right up a stack of Mail on Sundays... I felt a bit embarrassed, but then thought ...what a good dog! I always wondered if anyone stopped buying it as a result... it smells funny, and it's soggy! Free with this week's Mail on Sunday!

Our ‘caretaker’ who has got worse throughout the Pandemic (won’t catch me wearing a face nappy, ok it is only over 80’s likely to die, too many bedwetters out there) is now going round showing videos of magnets sticking to arms and spouting nonsense about vaccination turning people into zombies. Early last year he said to me that I should not listen to the bbc news or read the guardian as they are spreading the Government lies and need to be going to the people who really know (ie on social media). In his opinion, we are the ones being manipulated but I think it is clear that he (like many others) are being manipulated by individuals for their own ends. One person I know he is following is Vernon Coleman former gp and sun columnist who produces his his tirades under the banner of ‘an old man in his chair’ to get you into his confidence (‘thank you for listening to an old man in his chair’). The rubbish he tells is often nasty ( ‘for some of these people it is good they wear a mask, as they are too plug ugly’) but sitting in his chair and being polite to his followers, gives the impression that you are listening to a favourite old uncle. He knows what he is doing by misleading people and he is making a fortune. Understand his net worth is several million and if you search for him on Amazon, there is a long list of books and pamphlets he has produced that can be bought. Like David Icke and others, they are all in it for the money and do not care about the mental anguish or the social exclusion that their acolytes may encounter (which I can recognise in our caretaker).
Guardian and BBC news? It is journalism and relies on named credible sources/research. I could go on social media and say that the vaccine will make your genitals drop off (it’s a cover up, and people are too embarrassed to share their experience), completely made up but the worst sanction I would face is to have my account suspended. That would give my story more credibility (this is what they don’t want you to know, the truth that Facebook has blocked from you knowing…). As more of this rubbish gets retweeted, I set up a new account, to recommend buying my latest publication, or to sell my counter medicine using a bleach based formula. This is exactly what is happening and these people are falling for it.

We are going back in time to believing what charlatans say rather than looking for a logical explanation (rather than questioning what we see around us, which is one of mankind’s greatest assets - why do we hear thunder and see lightning, at one time it would have been seen as the actions of gods until we understand what is happening and know it is the result of storm clouds releasing electrical charges - ok my knowledge ain’t so great but I know it’s not superstition).
It is like going back to Victorian times, or early last century when there was a huge interest in attending seance’s. The clairvoyants used simple magic tricks to dupe people and was why sceptics like Houdini set out to debunk what they were doing. Or Indian Fakirs, claiming magic powers but using simple magic tricks, like walking on hot coals! Which is not anything incredible, how do I know? Because I done it myself once. Or more recently, Uri Geller and his spoon bending (amongst other tricks) which has been debunked as a magic trick, and not a particularly novel one, by other magicians such as the great James Randi (and even Muhammad Ali was banned from the magic circle because he was using the tricks he learnt to debunk superstitions by explaining how it was done. I do wish he was still around now because I am sure he would dispelling the anti vaccine myths)

Sadly they are accepting lunacy as their prefered answers. They accused Hillary Clinton and Democrats of being part of a pedophile ring run in the basement of a pizza place that had no basement. Yet ignore the fact that far more Republicans and/or Republican connected people, have been credibly accused of sex trafficking minors. Some recently being indicted, at least one more likely close to being indicted. Even though these are factual, real, and happening, they refuse to recognize them as truth. To the Q believer, it's a witch hunt, a deep state attack, or other some such nonsense. Regardless of how they might test on an IQ test, the are idiots. Yes, Democrats too have had bad actors, but they have been few, and acted on their own. Other Democrats holding them accountable, even asking them to resign. Whereas, the Republicans, deny they did anything wrong, support and never ask their bad actors to resign.

Energy supply in the UK, the next big f**k up. Wholesale prices up 260% since 2020. Price cap put in place when energy prices were 40% lower so smaller energy companies cannot absorb increase, 2 gone bust this week, 4 more expected to go next week. Bulb the 7th biggest expected to merge, seek investment or go bust shortly. 50 energy companies at present may be 15 by the end of the year. Boris hinted at emergency package to prop up energy. Not helped by supply cuts by Norway, Fire in the UK side of the cable from France. So the 2 main fertilizer plants are not economic due to fuel prices, they have shut down, the by- product C02 is now in short supply. Stocks are prioritised for nuclear reactor cooling and medical, leaving critical shortage for the food industry. Not that there are drivers to deliver it but thats another subject! I Pay this government to govern and as part of that to think ahead and plan for critical scenarios like fuel prices rising, safeguarding critical supply lines etc . Boris you can’t call the army in for this one like the Scottish ambulance shortage, what next?

CO2 supply may be prioritised for NHS and nuclear, but it is highly likely to have an impact on NHS and delay operations (after the backlog built up due to Covid).

Good quote in the article: The EU operates a solidarity principle regarding gas which means in the event of a serious crisis member states are expected to help each other maintain supplies. Great idea.No doubt it would apply to critical gas supplies like CO2 and exchange of personel such as lorry drivers, blood test tubes, we should become a member.
As Zen points out Supply and demand is the phrase used to justify cutting back, a country needs more than profit. Resilience is a word much banded about in Govt. speak circles. Sad its only an academic exercise seldom translated into worthwhile projects whilst vanity projects like HS2 appear to be the main aim.
