Proving, that sometimes, the simple solution was the right one after all. Borrowed from Tack of the Day, who likely borrowed it from somewhere else.

Ahhhh, a couple of weeks ago I took a video of one of the barn cats trying to catch fireflies! Finally decided to upload it. Had to catch the moment on my phone, because you just can't plan moments like this. So, not as good as it could have been, but still thought it was cute. Love how cats can go from silly, to serious and back to silly without missing a beat.

Thanks. Yeah, no mystical connections to my name. Have a horse named Zen and sometimes I ride him. Also, pretty much all the other boring screen names were pretty much all taken way back when. Though not much lately, which is why as he gets older, he's 23 this year, I'm heading back to motorcycles for a while. Though the first one I used for transportation a lot more then I will do with this one. That is until I changed jobs (same company, but when I started driving, drove out of a different location) and had to travel on the highway more for work. Now, it's more just for fun and vs taking the horses out, it's just hop on and go. With the horses, it was a bit more of a production. Grooming packing up the truck and trailer, saddle up and ride, unloading everything, grooming some more... which I loved doing, but just don't seem to have the time I used to have. That's not my place, just where I keep them. It's not a fancy barn, but very nice and perfect for me. The barn has it's own hay field and pass some of that savings on to it's boarders. They've thought of raising board to what other places charge, but then found out what the other places do and realized they would actually make less money. Plus, people that pay more, tend to expect more expensive stupid things. The only barns that really make money, make it on training horses and people to ride. That said, they make more than enough to pay their bills and cost of their horse hobby. It's a win, win. Much as it would have been great to get a place where I could have them in the back yard, where I'd have complete control, I probably wouldn't have saved much or any money doing that. Not to mention the time needed to keep places like that up. Fixing fences, mowing fields, cleaning stalls, feeding.... probably wouldn't be able to ride more then I had been before Zen broke his jaw a couple of years ago. Not to mention, makes travel much harder. That said, financially, they were not my best decision in life, but well, whether I ride or not, I do enjoy just hanging out with them and just messing with them. They seem to enjoy it too. Of course, that said, have been thinking I really should hop on my Zen and see if he still remembers that he's supposed to listen to me when I'm on his back, because it would be nice to take some fall rides in the woods this year. As for Guy, he's just special. Bought him for a 'rescue' and somehow that ended up being me, whether I had time or money for an extra edition... Someone put a lot of holes in his training after the track. Though he can get somewhat better, needs to be ridden more than a couple of times a week to keep him there. Without regular riding he regresses and has occasional meltdowns. Which are not fun when I'm in shape, and need to get into a little better shape again before dealing with his quirkiness under saddle. Good thing he's a sweetheart the rest of the time. Hmmm, sitting here isn't getting anything done and the suns finally come out.

and I'd had the impression you were a "city girl" living in an apartment much like in "Frasier" coz that's how all Americans live, I've seen 'Friends" I've seen "Frasier" I know No apartment, but my house being smaller I do joke that it's my condo with a yard on the fringes of civilization. More importantly, I have a great garage.
