Almost a year since any posts to this thread... not many laughs to be had... but amongst all the terrible nonsense we are living through and have witnessed, there is still some great nonsense out there... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-63600184Our youngest son has been studying at Aberystwyth University for the past year, and our journeys to and from there took us past this amusing and bizarre sign. We puzzled over it the first time we saw it, then very much looked forward to seeing it on subsequent journeys! Thank you beef and rendrags. I don’t generally look at this thread but I had seen the airport sign in the news. It reminded me of the fictitious Dylan Thomas village of Llareggub … so I tried to see some meaning in the airport name. Buggerall 🤣🤣 |
