Continuing the theme of Angels, personally, a track that I first of all didn't really listen to and then once I was told it's meaning I totally changed my mind of. In it he refers to "Angels" but the meaning is from the old comfort tale that still born children and cot death children are taken by God to become Angels. The whole meaning of the song changes to that of a man raked with grief over the death of his child, ignoring his grieving wife as she holds both herself and him together, "wherever the waterfall shall take me" deep deep out of control depression ...... and of course, clip shows the very moment a member from a boy band because a respected artist in his own right

Well Shane has to be followed by Wilko, one of my other great hero's. So a little anecdote for this track, which to choose from my many Wilko Johnson experiences? Perhaps one that relates to drinking being the a sub-story of Shane's song and Wilko's. It was at a gig at Maidstone Art College, Wilko was head lining and it was an awesome gig, hot very very sweaty and to coin a Wilko phrase "R&B total Frenzy". The dancing had been mad mad loon dancing all night, we had been drinking all night and the combination of drink, frenzied dancing, sweat and heat, was taking it's toll on me. My best mate, saw the signs that I was about to do one of my finest Mount Vesuvius impressions and so grabbed me and ran me towards the toilets. At that venue the toilets were downstairs, we got to the stairs it was too late, eruption was starting, he leant me over the banister rather than throwing up on the stairs, I recall opening my eyes and seeing a beautiful arching of vomit plummeting towards the floor below, just where a bouncer was standing. It missed him by inches, he looked upwards pointed at me and screamed "OUT", my mate helped me out of the gig. Luckily, now with an empty stomach, we enjoyed a nice Chicken Fried Rice on the walk home

New one on me and loved it split in two directions so may go for both So the first one is from my childhood and my best mate (Mick, he is the same guy that leant me over the banister in an earlier story), said, back when we were about 9 or maybe 10 that if I was ever to sing a song this is the song I should sing coz it sounds like me, the expressions and accent, he said he closed his eyes when listening and he saw me awwww shucks
