Ok this "Go where the song takes you" may take a little explanation. I saw this band in the latter half of the '70's at the Hammy Odeon. The support band was a band called "Japan" and they were VERY heavy rock, never heard of them again until the New Romantics came about, always wondered if it was the same band that evolved with fashion and commercial influences or one died and one was born

Glad you liked it SC... Talk Talk became an amazing band... somehow transforming from synth pop in the early 80s to otherworldly via 1986's Colour of Spring album... bought Spirit of Eden in Sheerness Woolworths (I was living/working there at the time... somewhere around 1990...)

Musically, maybe not a lot of a link, but The Title and this ones video. Which, by the way also has a family link My Eldest when he was younger was in a band called Thing4, my son played bass and his mate Rob from Infants School played guitar, they played "Thrash Funk" together no matter what they were told to play. The way the band worked was they get up on stage, play, the singer would read a Dr Seuss book to the crowd over the music, when the book was finished he would place it carefully on the stage floor and walk off, the band would stop playing. Gig over. Rehearsals were always held after a gig never before My sons greatest victory was that they were "canned during a performance" .............. "We got a reaction!!!!!!! We got the biggest reaction " Anyway, one guy (not sure if he was friend or a friend of a friend) called Laurie wanted to join Thing4 but he was refused for two reasons (1) He could play guitar bloody well, and (2) He didn't really get what they were about Obviously Laurie paired up with another back in 2012 and created ........
