I'm still not listening... just collecting and observing. It's more interesting than I thought it would be. With this track I know that it's based on the unfinished opening track from the Back2Front tour and I wish I could unhear that version, in order to appreciate the finished track more.

drip.... drip..... drip.... that's 3 new tracks now... halfway through side 1 - hopefully a whole album by the end of the year... I wonder which of the two mixes will be included? A deluxe edition with both? Speaking of which, we've past 30 years of Us and 20 years of Up without any of the usual special editions etc... maybe PG got his fingers burned with the ill-conceived (in terms of the formats) So 25+ box set? |

The comments I've seen on Bandcamp are fairly evangelically enthused about everything so far... Don't worry, they are right in that the songs and music are good. I really like the last song released. Peter's voice is strong and clear. All the songs are very thoughtful, reflective of the world and life, but not jump up and dance. Maybe stand and sway. I'm guessing there is at least one more song to be released before the tour starts, maybe and the vinyl will have an actual bright side and a dark side. As will the CD, but both on one side. 😉 As, it is, I have not listened to the songs extensively. Waiting for the CD release to do that. |

I was a bit worried that PG had overcooked the songs and they'd become sonically overdense, turgid plods. Sounds like it's going to be a short album though, if both mixes are included. With the Bandcamp subscription you also get an early band version of the songs... |

Apparently, Peter has been getting a lot of kickback from promoting this contest. Not sure I'd add my name to a list that has Elon, my spaceships often blow up, Musk on it.
