Wondering why the increase in attacks recently. Easy to blame Brexit and "UK's" more Nationalistic (yes I know that's a contradiction, but right know I don't know how to explain that) approach, but mainland Europe have suffered more than us in the past and they are pro-Europe and internationalist. So it can't be that. Perhaps it sees that our Country as divided, by Nationalism/Internationalism, Right/Left, Hope/Hate, Confident/Scared, fuel the divisions, the closer to chaos we go, the more the divisions grow. The more the divisions grow the more fertile the population becomes for seeding new ideas and conversion. No matter what Party is in charge, The UK or it's individual component parts if we split, will never be down trodden. As a people it just ain't in our nature Hope not Hate, Confident not Scared.

Could be right SC - we are living in chaotic times which are an invitation for manipulation through whatever means. I think we're reaping the rewards of decades of meddling in the middle east. Perhaps it's the election? Perhaps coincidence or even inspired by other terrorist acts.
Trouble is, it's so easy to be a terrorist - all you need is devotion to a "cause" and complete disregard for killing others - just choose your weapon, or go for a drive along a busy pavement.

I agree with all you say but, I'm not yet convinced by the "meddling in the middle east" argument. The Middle East has been a war zone for a thousand years, everyone has played a part. Yes if we attack a Country they will retaliate, we all know that, but on going conflict does not work like that.
Think of the horrors that America dealt out to Japan with two nuclear bombs, of Fire Bombing the German Heartland. That has not bred, Japanese and German Terrorists constantly attacking America.

I didn't necessarily mean it was retaliation SC - more that it is fertile ground for growing terrorism - which could surface wherever the diaspora from those damaged countries or those sympathetic to the cause may live. And I think it's because the various conflicts are so old they have become almost part of the land itself. So the middle east conflicts cannot be seen as a one-off piece of history. And that there is a strong religious aspect makes it all the more potent for. followers if the cause.

Horrific, yet again and atrocities not just happening here either. My theory is feed the so-called terrorists with crystal meth and my guess is they'll be prompted to believe and do anything. Trouble is, who is providing them with the twisted ideology, empty promises and funding? My money's on SA who may be more than a little worried at the prospect of Corbyn becoming PM and putting a stop to selling them arms. Sadly the general public tend to focus on Islam and blame Muslims, which is totally wrong. Just spotted this Censored report on jihadi funding. Also, watch the video where Amber Rudd instigates the interruption of a speech at hustings where one of the candidates outlines May and others involvement in procuring arms deals with SA. I wonder if there could there be a link to what I'm thinking? Censored, so we may never find out

One of the reasons for the increased attacks is they have yet to get what they really want, complete fear and paranoia. These people actually attack Muslims more, as most Muslims do not follow their most corrupted ideology. Never give into fear.

Been out today so just catching up with the news.
Now I don't like to use the "C" word, but with Trump's Tweets today is there any other way of describing him other than "The sexual penetration of the female reproduction organ" ?

I try to be reasonable (but Harleys are shit aren't they? No one can argue with that), but know, with the behaviour of the US President, who does represent America, I cannot hold my feelings back, I am personally boycotting all things American. Americans can't just say, "it's not us, it's only our President". The President is America. I know I say "Intolerance is Intolerable" and other equality stuff, I try, I know what is right and wrong, but America should be leading not being excused. Imagine if the Queen had tweeted to the New York Mayor after 9/11 what Trump Tweeted to the London Mayor.....................................

How on earth does Trump think he is helping the UK by criticising the man responsible for policing London during this time of crisis. I wonder if May is regretting rushing to offer a state visit for Trump in the coming months. His irresponsible tweets, attacking the second most important elected official in the UK are harmful to the people of London and place them at greater risk. The new government will need to pay heed to the petition signed by millions and ban Trump from the country.

No, it is about time we stopped treating America as the child. Any other adult country when the President speaks, the Nation speaks. This should be especially so in any democratic Country. So when Trump speaks, The USA speaks. Fuck their excuses, it's The USA speaking folks!

The problem isn't the majority, the same politics that gave you BREXIT, gave us Trump. If you need anyone to get really mad at would be Putin and his crack team of patriotic hackers. What a bunch of crap that was.
As for May, don't be surprised if ours aren't the only politicians whose emails have been hacked in the last year or so...
If you haven't noticed Americans in ever increasing numbers are rallying against what is happening, but like you there is only so much the everyday people can do... we need support in our resistance against fascism, as will you.
In the meantime, thank you so much for giving us Mr Oliver.
Harley's are OK, but many of their owners well that's a whole other story....

ZenRider, I Love You (in a liking sense ) But if Theresa May speaks to the world or to other nations she speaks as the voice of the UK. If the Queen speaks she speaks as the voice of the UK also. We cannot say "oh she's a mad old bat. ignore her". Yes Putin interferes, much like all previous USA Presidents have interfered with other nations elections. It's bad, it's shit, it must stop, welcome to the world Zenrider, it's unfair, time for the USA to grow up?
