27C 26C 26C - sweltering!!! After all the plus 30* weather we've been having 27 feels great. The evenings will be pleasant heading to cool. If you don't get any rain before than you'll have to keep an eye on anyone smoking not to drop lit butts on the ground. Not to mention any careless candle and incense use. Best to keep your campfires virtual and not have a camp on fire.

Ok, looks like the warm - hot weather will continue with chance of shower(s). So wellies and suncream combo is the ideal! We’ll all be arriving pre-baked and pre-browned this year so burning risk should be reduced with luck. #knowyourskin

Went to a festival build today for work, like a dustbowl, came back covered, some of the crew were wearing dust masks so a few showers would not go a miss.

Cal has decided to bring her wellies which means record breaking temperatures and NO rain That's always been my thought, with limited success. Bring the rain gear with the hopes it will keep the rain away. Of course, if it does rain anyway, well, you have your rain gear. Long term forecast now has some possible rain in it, but still too early to worry about it. Forecasts change every day so here's to mother nature being kind to WOMAD 2018

It’s so tempting to only bring sandals!
But today I have packed hubby’s packamac, my plastic overtrousers and the really big thick double layered knitted jacket just in case it turns cold! 😂😳🤣

We had rain last night, but just a sprinkling, probably around 0.000000000001 cm! So the ground is still rock hard! Walking in the field towards Charlton Park today there were massive cracks in the ground. Anyone would think there'd been an earthquake!

Watering can to pour to aid tent peg bashing in then?

Any rain will get soaked up very quickly

... all those bent tent pegs being bashed into straightness again - pitching will be a longer event for many people this year. Crikey Rendrags - your photo - so very parched earthu. Thanks for venturing out to take the photo and share. I get annoyed when I see livestock in fields without shelter from sun/rain etc... now add grazing - what's left for them when the grass is all dried up?
Forecast for Malmesbury now dry for all festival days - light rain 6-7am Mon morning.

Forecast for Malmesbury now dry for all festival days - light rain 6-7am Mon morning. Hopefully they have hay. Droughts can be problematic that way. As it is, much as you may need rain, here's to rain after the festival. Latest weather update took the rain out. Warm, sunny, but not terribly hot, with cooler nights, but not cold. Definitely bring the sunscreen.
