Me too Bloohair. I’ve so missed Womad these 3 years. The anticipation. Like old times. Can’t wait to see webby the site build. Yesterday I checked my trolley. One tyre was flat. I had anticipated this as when I checked it last year I bought two new wheels off ebay. Generally they’re made of piss poor material and the inner tube perishes. Check ‘em out. Looking forward to seeing you lot. Anyone bringing a ukulele? It’s been 4 years for me 😄 4 for me too... hoping I can make it next time... that'll make 5... in the old days the thought of missing even one was horrifying. I

Looks like a few of us posters returning after a period away, great to get back!. Think its 5 years for me. Although it could be 4. Or 6. I've lost one or two years recently

Most of the acts that I'm keen to see are playing on Saturday! Lots of potential clashes and difficult decisions to make....

I think 2018 was the last time for me, the year of the flat car battery and big wind on the Saturday evening that blew unfastened tents away. Rachel, my Womad partner, will be with me for the last 3 days. That was the year a lady (or may be not) was quite insistent that she drag me to her tent to admire my hat. Rachel drove her off with a broom. Also we met in the Tiny Tea Tent, (Oh Zen you will love it) a lovely lady called Sarah aged 4 with, as she told us, her 46 year old mum, they were lovely & also loved my hat. I suggested Rachel to look after Sarah whilst I took her Mum to my tent to admire my hat. (Rachel hit me with her broom)
I ordered Red Park and Camp by mistake so if any one wants to swap that for Meadow Park and Camp let me know. But I do recall in 2007 at Womud the meadow was a huge pond as the stream burst its banks.
Only one year since then I didn't go but was messaging Magic Wookie anyway, who was camped at our usual spot, but his wife wasn't well, I said it doesn't quite fit food poisoning, he had to contact the on site medics and she was rushed off Blues and twos really critically ill. Sadly the experience was in terms of Womad life altering and they have never returned; a great shame and loss to our little Womad crew, or should that be 'The womad Cru'.

Hello, not been here for a while. Just checked my Ticketline account to see what's going on with tickets. Has anyone had theirs yet? I've emailed to ask when they will be dispatched but getting a tad nervous as time is moving on.

Just checked what I have, which is an e-ticket from eventbrite which was for 2020 but on clicking the download link shows as the tickets for 2022. Hope that helps.

As Mikey said, if you got your ticket via Eventbrite, then logging in on the Eventbrite website or via the app, your ticket is displayed as 2022 Womad. I don't know about Ticketline, but I'd imagine that a printed ticket or e-ticket would be fine too.

Thanks folks, I bought last year from Ticketline. For info they have replied with assurances that tickets be sent out 'in a few weeks'. Hmmm, cutting it a bit fine methinks ☹️.

Hopefully they meant a few days or a week. Otherwise, that could be a bit problematic for me if they wait too long. As, Trump's head of the USA's Post Office, is somehow still the USA's head of the Post Office, and things ain't as fast as they used to be. Fingers crossed the tickets make it to me before I leave! They will go straight into a suitcase! They will go with me in my carry on when I leave, but if I put them in the suitcase right away, much harder to forget. I'm sure they know what they are doing, but fingers crossed everyone gets their tickets in a timely manner. 🤞🤞

... never made it to a single workshop - just don't know how anyone has the time with so much else going on. Perhaps I'm just allergic to anything that starts with the word 'work'... and ending with'shop' doesn't help much either.

@ Zenrider, I'm hoping they email tickets as post is also unreliable here in UK. Local postie tells me many of our postal workers are off sick with Covid. I've emailed Ticketline again to check on their ticket distribution methods.

I think I recall them emailing them. But I luckily printed off the park and camp ticket as its your only proof you are in P&C if you need to take the car off site during the event.

Yep, they are e-tickets but the website says that the tickets should have been attached to confirmation email, mine weren't. When I looked at my Ticketline account under the 'order history' tab it states that the tickets are 'not yet available for delivery'. No reply to last email so fingers crossed for good news soon. Didn't have this uncertainty with Eventbrite
