The new Tim Vine Chat Show is on radio 4 next Thursday at 6:30. Great show, he is really funny with lots of audience participation. I wonder if we might hear someone we know on the recording?

Once upon a time in Hollywood great performances of from Brad and Leonardo, killer script and soundtrack too this films isn't driven by plot so don't go looking for one it all about the people sadly the film lack a good female role but then it is set in the 1969 Hollywood PS a young Steve McQueen has a cameo I thoroughly enjoyed it 😀 Brilliant and enjoyable. trivia question to see who was paying attention during the final credits. Who was credited with choreography for the film? clue. They have featured on this site. And yes, worth hanging on to the end of the final credits

The Food Program on Radio 4 today (Sunday) at 12.30 - features Womad's Taste the World!
Not sure if it's from this year's featival , or previous years, but sounds like it could be interseting!

Just listened on catch-up - transported me back to the end of July - as usual saw some amazing performances on the stage. It can change your opinion of an artist. For example, I caught a little of Jojo Abot's performance in the Siam tent. Thought it was disappointing that she was singing along to a backing track. However, I saw her on Taste the World, and she was so entertaining. Close up the outfits and dancing were amazing, and since the sound quality is good enough to be able to hear clearly ... she can actually sing very ... and I guess that transporting a full band across the Atlantic can be prohibitive for the lesser known artists. A stage where you can usually get to know an artist better. Btw, my first post here. Been lurking for a long time, and posted a few times on the previous forum.

we both really enjoy The Shiny Shrimps, this French tale of a elite swimmer being forced to coach a LGBTI etc water polo team does follow familiar lines but there are a few twist along the way, the final scene has us both laughing and crying

Well Del, never thought he would find a "religion" to follow but after watching Hail Satan? he realised he's has be following The Satanic Temple for most of his life
a very well made documentary which posses and lot of questions and Del would suggest watching it with an open mind and remember actions speak loader that words.

In case you Don’t know...Alexei Sayle and his imaginary sandwich bar is back on Radio 4, Thursday at 6.30 thanks for the tip mikey! Reminds me a few years ago I was walking along the South Bank, under Waterloo Bridge and I heard a voice I recognised... sure enough there was Alexei Sayle sat at a table having a chat with someone... and sounding exactly like Alexei Sayle. Not much of a story - everyone's got to be somewhere... even me and Alexei Sayle.

Btw, my first post here. Been lurking for a long time, and posted a few times on the previous forum. Hope you don't mind my taking some liberties with your choice of avatars. Not sure how mine ended up in the general listing, but it was too confusing for us to share mine.
