Filmwise - Anyone checked out "Under the Skin"? Intriguing and hypnotically engrossing (and not for the obvious reason). So thats where you've been, just watched this film

Not exactly film or TV; but it's the length of one. Africa Express presents the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians. Lovely Arabic classical music, with jams with musicians from all over. It's all good, but my absolute fave is the track from 56 minutes.

..Robot Wars is back on Sunday Classic Many a happy hour was spent watching that with the boys when they were young, they watching the Robots, me watching Philippa Forrester, (sighs, and smiles contentedly to self)

Now I'm just as enthralled with her husband, Charlie Hamilton-James - incredibly talented wildlife photographer and altogether fab chap. They make a good couple

Really enjoyed BBC 4 9:30 to 10:30 Peoples History of Pop 1966 to 1976 although it was nice to include "Real" people but there was something sad about their obsession and not moving on. But then from 10:30 it switched to "Hobbit Rock" Why? God I hate "Hobbit Rock" I lasted 5 mins...............

Filmwise - Anyone checked out "Under the Skin"? Intriguing and hypnotically engrossing (and not for the obvious reason). Del saw it at the Glasgow film festival a few years ago which added to the strangeness as most of it was filmed in Glasgow!

Robot Wars - blummin brilliant! and as for Angela Scanlon, I'm sorry Philippa Forester gets the "Red Card" my total attention is on the wonderfully deep and multi talented Angela Scanlon, who will in all probability, discover a cure for cancer and rid the world of famine ............ Sighs dreamily and gazes into space
