...I remember that sudden heavy rain during Linnea Olsson's set on whatever the arboretum stage used to be called... everyone shuffled forwards in the hope of fitting under the stage canopy... Nidi D'Arac were amazing, as were all the Italian bands who played at Womad over the years...

My working-from-home music selections today are Womad-themed - all music that was introduced to by seeing them at Womad. Started off with Tuuletar: Tules Maas Vedes Taivaal, then Linnea Olsson: Ah! After that, Nidi D'Arac: Taranta Container, followed by Anoushka Shankar: Land of Gold. A break for lunch and now listening to Meta & The Cornerstones: Ancient Power Ah! Happy memories!
I have taken many videos from Womad over the years, so will be going through these over the next few weeks, months...

I agree with Beef, would be great to see them, especially as it's 99% certain Womad 2020 won't be happening.

Do upload them anywhere rendrags? Would love to see them. I don't, Beef. Maybe I should have a go sometime, but they would need some editing - most have lots of heads in the way, or people talking loudly!

Just been listening to iamthemorning's Lighthouse album. Wonderful music! I first found them a few years ago when Twitter's algorithm suggested I follow them. Had a listen and fell in love with their sound straight away. iamthemorningband.bandcamp.com/album/lighthouse
