I often browse the Daily Vile, just to remind myself that there are an army of small minded, self centred, col. Blimp Gammons out there. The comments section is a treasure trove of trash.
As for 'Lady Hussey' well dear a word of advice, just cause someone's black does not mean they aint British. Likewise being 'white' doesn't mean your descended from an ancient Brit, take your late employer as an example, white of German extraction and married to a Greek.
Poor Megan, The interview with the senior Police officer revealed she faced real all the time serious threats from the far right. As a couple he said they felt under constant threat in the UK. That's appalling, no one royal or not should feel like that.

As my Mother always pointed out, Edward the eighth would have all parliamentary dealings presented for his perusal before he invited the German Ambassador to the Palace for a ‘chat’. It is a system that is just untenable and must be sorted out!
And thank God for Wallis Simpson or else what a mess we would have been in during 1939/1940.

Holy Crap! They finally indicted Trump. Let's see if the USA justice system can hold a rich overpriviledged white man accountable for this and hopefully more indictments for his many other crimes to come.
No one should ever be above the law, least of all in the USA.

Well, Trump the Traitor has been formally charged, but they are still treating him with kid gloves. Which I suppose does fit his tiny hands.
Here's hoping America really does believe no on is above the law. Sadly, I believe the initial judgements will be sound and find him guilty. Sadly, the state of our higher courts is largely compromised with a lot of partisan hack conservative judges in the state supreme courts and the Supreme Court that could just let him go. Or more so, if a Republican becomes governor in New York he could just pardon him. Same goes for the next Republican President. Democrats have more than not pardoned other Democrats for violating their political office. Same has largely gone with Republicans, but the current state of the Republican party is about as corrupt as it gets. They would/will happily make a mockery of our legal system just because.
The good thing, so very few people showed up to show their support for Trump, that was a beautiful thing.
