New Years day - will just have to hold out for that! Not really keen on any of the other progs - but I still have Peter Pan Goes Wrong on hard disk, so that'll take the place of the Christmas prog; sorted! Got to say, the bbc schedule is very unimaginative and (apart from DrWho changing days) is the same output they have put on for the the last ten years or so Just what we want on Christmas Day... craig revel hall dresses up as Scrooge. big fight kicks off in Albert Square, lots of shouting (LEAVE IT, HE’S NOT WORTH IT!), until a few flakes of snow and a truce is called will the midwife get through the Christmas Day snow to deliver the baby, of course she does thanks to a passing philanthropist some bloke dressed in drag breaks the fourth wall and every one collapses with laughter, before two of the ‘boys’ appear dressed up in rediculous Christmas fancy dress as they have a street job one step up from ‘golf sale’ there you have it, and apologies for breaking the ‘no spoilers’ rule oh, there is one highlight for all to enjoy Christmas Day. A new film of Zog based on the Julia Donaldson book. Zog - I know nothing about it but will at least record if not watch, since it comes with your recommendation - thanks!

I'd like to find out for myself! - very modest travel, just within my own time line........ a bit tricky, thinking about it... don't suppose there's a lever for re-living the best of our memories and be back for tea?

This is Zog Not read this one (to my great nephews obviously) but if it is by Julia Donaldson, then should be very entertaining for the family. Attachments:

final watched the partition episode and we thought it was very well done, not sure why they had to have the demon story line (may part of bigger picture)

Yes, it was a shorter season (10 episodes), with longer episodes (50 minutes).
Jodie is indeed a fantastic Doctor! She and the rest of Team Tardis have really quickly grown into their roles

we agree it been fun although we wished they had used an old Norse legend instead of a timelord fairy story which felt it was made up on the spot

the BBC seem to be reducing Who out put which is a shame, we don't think it because of the female doctor more to do with they are getting board with it

the BBC seem to be reducing Who out put which is a shame, we don't think it because of the female doctor more to do with they are getting board with it I think it's more of how they do things with TV these days. Split seasons for some shows, meaning they will count two seasons in a year. Or, do half of what used to be a whole season and play reruns during holidays and major sporting events, before finishing the season. Most TV shows only air about half new shows compared to what they used to. Don't even get me started on the show to commercial ratio. Which is why I don't really watch much TV anymore. That and sadly many of the commercials are better than the beat to death formats of most shows. That said, looking forward to catching up on the latest episode of Dr Who.
