We've had next to no rain at all for the past few weeks here in SN16. The ground is as dry as a bone. The forecast is for fine weather for the foreseeable future, so if it stays like this you might need a pneumatic drill to get those tent pegs in!

Heavy duty tent pegs and mallet and tent peg puller outerer on order. My camping gear, along with Womad clothes and summer clothes is at the back of my storage unit behind furniture. Too dangerous / difficult to get to. The camping table was at the front, so that is coming. Wellies are to hand - all set! Hurrah!

Still a bit early but from the Met Office "UK Outlook for Sunday 8 Jul 2018 to Sunday 22 Jul 2018: It is too early to give any specific detail for July, but the likelihood is that we will see a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. There are some early indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies, and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There is also the chance that the warm weather could lead to a few thunderstorms in the south of the UK, but on the whole it will be a mainly dry and warm picture. Updated: 01:02 on Sun 24 Jun 2018 BST" So I guess that translates to "It's unlikely to snow"

From BBC website end of July.-- Today hundreds of tents collapsed at Womad under the weight of a FREAK SNOWSTORM. People blamed that bloke from Sussex or Kent and were seen aimlessly wandering round saying I canny find my cheese so pass the sherry. Avatars have had to be changed : icehair, spoke to Icy stone, White rags said to Ice warrior this aint on. That would be news.

Hi Snow Cream (from Kent) here Update on Long Term Weather Forecast from Met Office "UK Outlook for Tuesday 10 Jul 2018 to Tuesday 24 Jul 2018: The most likely scenario is that we will see a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK with very warm temperatures likely at times. However, there are some indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies, and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There may also be some interludes of more unsettled, cooler conditions bringing some outbreaks of rain or showers across the rest of the UK, however these will be short lived with dry, fine weather likely for most of the time and further very warm or hot spells possible. Updated: 02:47 on Tue 26 Jun 2018 BST" So fair to say Snow is still unlikely
