Well, now we know that the second announcement included most of the D&B stage line up. No more big names to come other than whoever turns up for Mollys Bar (and who may turn up as a last minute booking). Think I will be happy for the line up at the CG and the main stage but worry that the standard may no longer be so high for the Siam (acts that previously occupied theBig Red tent). For instance Black Water County, were at Tolpuddle a couple o& years ago and thought were blooming awful, should be at Mollys at best, maybe Big Red but in the Siam? No way Jose. Rant over, I’ve got to say that Robert Plant with Saving Grace on the D&B will sound amazing (providing everyone stops talking) along with others appearing on the stage. Oh and have forgotten the Ecotricity Arboretum stage which should have some amazing acts. It'll be interesting (and exciting or disappointing) to see how the "flavour"/ "style" of the stages (and audiences) does or doesn't alter with the new arrangements. I'm keen to find out!

"....(providing everyone stops talking)..... I agree. It would be wrong to wear "STFU" t-shirts......... wouldn't it? Still remember how f*cking annoying it was when Dawn Penn appeared. Just constant loud talking in a packed out tent as most people were not interested in her...just that one song they all know which she sings at the end, great experience for that one song (with lots of dancing and singing along) but up until then it was awful struggling to hear her singing. I also felt embarrassed for her and guess she was too nice to do a STFU shout, although it might just have shut the f@ckers up for a few minutes.

There may be fewer 'must sees' for me this year than in previous years, though this may change nearer the time.
I'd like to think I'll have a bit more of a leasurely time, taking in a Taste the World or two, and some of the workshops. Maybe even the Science Pavillion.
I usually go a bit crazy and try to see as may artists as possible and end up absolutely knackered.

Same here, will hopefully have a more relaxing time this year, need to stop dashing around trying to take in every band. I'm hoping I might be able to say hello to the good people of this forum if you have a meet up on the Friday, but from memory I think you tend to meet up on a Thursday.

Hi scott, Thursday evening is the usual meet up (bar to be decided as the first bar we went to last year had no beer!)

Every cloud, silver lining and all that, I might get to spend time at taste the world again although I wish they would publish the recipes on line afterwards (as the performers and organisers keep promising) as it would save having to make notes throughout. got a feeling that with a reduced line up, might not have the super afternoon/early evenings that we had in previous years. Picking a lineup of artists thinking might be ok, going from one performance straight to the next and find they were all an amazing new discovery and no time for trivialities in between (like eating or using the toilet, although finding time for the essentials like getting a drink).

Looks like Anandi Bhattacharya will be performing with her father Debashish on guitar. A definite must-see for me!
