Just heard Cerys on 6 Music, having played a track by Petit Noir, that she'll be at Womad all weekend, which is good news.
Hopefully she'll be doing the live Sunday morning slot agoin, which was sadly missing last year. |

Just heard Cerys on 6 Music, having played a track by Petit Noir, that she'll be at Womad all weekend, which is good news.
Hopefully she'll be doing the live Sunday morning slot agoin, which was sadly missing last year. Yes Rendrags. I turned up in the rain, having had a phone call from someone listening at home. Unfortunately all the expected action took place in an indoor studio onsite. But if R3 aren’t doing broadcasts will Cerys be doing the show? I might just have an extra cuppa tea,or go to tai chi. 😁 |

Not listening to Cerys this morning (as in and out a lot so cannot get distracted). Think she said before that she would be at Womad but I guess purely with the Radio 6 team and no Radio 3. Without a stage, I guess she will be doing her show from a small studio again.
I have follow this up in the other ‘non Womad’ thread as I get a bit of a rant on 🤔

Trying to familiarise myself with the Womad lineup to be ready to prepare a schedule for the weekend. Found there are a few listed twice (Gwenno, San Sebastián, Saint Sister). Is this a return to the late night performances (with a more family acceptable time the following day).

I leave that all things are possible, but have to wonder if they are going to social media for the live broadcasts? That seems to be the most traveled path.
