Hello after a fallow year happy to be returning to the Womad fold Anyone doing/ done a clashfinder yet please? not sure the timetable has been announced but it should be too much longer A clash finder at this time would mean a lot of guesswork and much experience of how the line up panned out in previous years. Without the Bbc shared stage and losing the big red tent, I cannot see how a clashfinder with any accuracy could be considered just yet. i am worried that saving grace with Robert plant and Orbital are going to clash though 🙁 |

over the last few years the WOMAD APP has kind of taken over the roll of clashfinder

Can set it up before Womad, check in your schedule of artists/workshops etc to see and then it is flexible enough to change round as things develop over the weekend. |

Juldeh was an important part of Plant's set-up for years - he took on his whole band based around Juldeh's playing - and influenced his sound no end in that time. Reckon whatever was said (I'll have to go into the British Library archives to dig it out) is so unlikely to be an insult - possibly banter that hit the ears at a wrong angle for audience members that don't knowtheir own relationship, but come on. |
