Had second AZ jab a week last Thursday, was fine until Sunday night Monday morning, then then the fatigue hit me along with a loss of appetite, so this past week has been a total loss, spent most of my time lazing around and sleeping. Oh dear, sorry to hear this, hope you’re feeling better soon 👍

Had my second Fizzy jab yesterday, sore arm and a bit tired like the first one. Like Digital Monkey I feel like I’ve had a night out on the town (but without the hangover)

Still get tired easily and appetite slowly getting back to somewhere near normal.

Didn't go out of my way to get the Pfizer, was just lucky that was the one most readily available to me. Best of all, having been one of the people with the misfortune of having Covid last year, my taste and smell are better than they've been in a long time! Here's to you getting past the annoying side effects and hopefully you can enjoy the good effects of the vaccine in protecting you from Covid, hopefully entirely.

Hippyguyman, really sorry to hear you have been struggling since having you jab. Hope you are getting over it, getting more energetic and your appetite returns soon. Zenrider, glad to hear you have your sense of taste back,

I have to admit to being increasingly reluctant to have my second dose of AZ - 4 days after the first I suddenly developed an intense headache, combined with the physical feeling of a build up of pressure, as if a balloon was inflating inside my head. I thought I was having a stroke or brain haemorrhage, but after a few minutes it went away. It was like nothing I've ever experienced before and it really shook me. It was only a few days later I began to wonder...

Thanks nigenet - this was a couple of months ago and the 2nd jab jab is scheduled in 2 weeks - I've made a GP appointment for before then to discuss this. Because it went away quite quickly, and that I'd been really ill with pneumonia the first three months of the year (I lost 10kg in a month - but it seemed like cheating...), I just kind of had enough of talking to doctors and worrying about this sort of stuff... but I won't have the 2nd jab without checking... ideally, I'd prefer to get a Pfizer.

My daughter was laid low for a week with severe flu-like symptoms after her first dose of the AZ vaccine, yet only had a mild headache the day after her second AZ dose.

Don't blame you really. The AZ hasn't been approved over here. My parents got the Moderna with similar effects. Any vaccine is better than no vaccine, but I agree with talking to your doctor. Due to past reactions with other vaccines a friend of mine ended up with the Johnson and Johnson. She had no bad side effects.

Not been back for Astra 2nd , had regular headaches dizzy spells im waiting on a scan at Salford Royal so im in no rush , ive already got vascular issues in my veins so as Duncan Bannatyne would say "I'm out"
Getting all political i recommend a Podcast called Dark Horse with Bret Weinstein search the one with Pierre Kory these people are not nut jobs and kooks . Ivermectin works but is being totally shut down , after having listened to what is going on , the amount of people who have died its a global catastrophe

I had my second AZ jab on Sunday, pretty much no side effects at all this time. I was also told that nearly everyone has less severe side effects with the second jab.
My understanding is that the benefits of the first jab dissipate after around 3 months, so anyone who decides not to get the second will hopefully revert to being ultra-cautious.
My understanding is that the jury is out in relation to ivermectin, many studies show it has negligible impact. Have too much or the wrong type and it will kill you. Maybe it's the panacea we've all been awaiting, but I am happy to wait until it comes in a form that is known to work and be safe to use.
When I see seemingly sensible people being taken in by at best dubious material on the internet, it reinforces my view that a lot more control is needed. No infrastructure to make that happen of course, but that's a whole different issue.
