Well I finally caught Covid! Now on day 4 - So far I’ve only got Covid Lite - never slept so much in my life!!!! THANK GOODNESS FOR VACCINATIONS- THEY DO WORK!!!!! Yes, after beginning to think I would never get it, I have had it twice this year. Second time round, it started worse but I registered on the Paxlovid trial, was allocated it and felt a lot better the day after taking the first dose (day 2 after testing positive). So I hope it gets through the trial OK, it could make a massive difference in the future. |

On a flight/in a taxi on Monday, pinged on Wednesday, negative test on Wednesday and felt fine, felt a bit under the weather on Thursday, positive test on Friday and felt grotty , still feeling grotty but Paxlovid arrived on Saturday, felt better on Sunday, negative test today!
That is so much better than in the dark days of 2020!

Had my COVID booster this afternoon, a bit tender round the injection site, hoping that's the only side effect I get.

Del's booster left him feeling a bit foggy the following day but it cleared quickly, a vast improvement from the last time he had the pfizer booster

Del has been struggling with a "bug" for the 10 days, it seems that after covid the body can take longer to fit of other bugs, Cal and Del are both proof of this.
